Since GoK is accrediting anything calling itself a university, there is need for a private initiative which would make higher demands. Employers would follow suit and some of these Degree Factories can continue churning out their papers without being taken seriously.

Kenya is quickly learning from the low-end commercial part of the American higher-education system: a "university" on the second floor of every multi-storey building in a large city; "credit for life experience", provided the fees are paid right away; degree certificate delivered in one week ($39.95 extra for overnight delivery).

Useless degrees. Like Nigeria and India.

Kenya is quickly learning from the low-end commercial part of the American higher-education system: a "university" on the second floor of every multi-storey building in a large city; "credit for life experience", provided the fees are paid right away; degree certificate delivered in one week ($39.95 extra for overnight delivery).

The guy actually showed up for class and sat some lessons & exams. Give me some slack. It something else for likes of Joho and company who buy degrees.
