Two Tanzanian ex-ministers handed three years for graft
« on: July 13, 2015, 04:03:27 PM »
Something the Kenyan media seems to have missed.

This could be music in Kenya but I guess we have a long way to go. It is said the ruling party CCM did not nominate former PM Edward Lowassa because of graft allegations against him. He did not even make it to the short list of 5 out of the 40 contestors. When will Kenya mature to this stage if ever?

Kenya will get there.  When they pick a person from a tribe that is not mine to prosecute.

Below is Ngilu's outburst in defence of Kalonzo Musyoka against Jubilee.  Recently we saw Kikuyu leaders come out in defense of "their" thief Michael Kamau.

This is just one aspect of the mentality that guarantees what we are seeing happen in Tz will NEVER cross the border into Kenya.  It's not happening in our lifetime.  Someone with power is going to need the Kamba votes and will push the right buttons to close this case and similar others.

Apparently irritated by the issue of grabbling land in Yatta, the CS declared that the land in question is owned by the Kamba community and cannot be taken away.

Yes it seem Ngilu has gone politically. Who wouldn't considering the kid gloves that Waiguru has been handle with.

And that is the unfortunate bit about Kenya.  The politicization of corruption has its rewards.  Ngilu, instead of focusing on clearing her name, can actually scream favoritism.  Someone can count on their tribe to rally behind them regardless of the accusations or evidence against them.

I get the feeling that doing that in Tz won't get you political mileage.  That people will want to avoid being associated with a disgraced politician.

It is a reaction to Waiguru. She suddenly realized she is a woman like Waiguru but is not being treated the same way. Ngilu can be very vindictive. She gonna collect all the wizards in Kitui at her home. Huyo mwanamke!
