I don't hear any credible plan to deliver Kenya to the promised land. Just corruption, katiba, ubuntu, bla bla. Perhaps it's the lack of Ruto- or Raila- level oratory we are accustomed to? 🤔¯\(ツ)/¯

But what is the status of police reforms the chief justice championed? Has he seen them through? Coming at the tipping end of a constitutional mandate, this was a good testament of his ineptitude. Leadership is not just the law and constitutionalism. Vision, innovation, thrift are all demanded by the plethora of grand challenges the nation faces. I am unpersuaded David Maraga can best William Ruto and other men contending the state platform.

Maraga is old and dememented. Beside leading the  most corrupt judiciary in Kenya's history, there is nothing to his name. The only thing we remember him was strucking down Jubilee win by taking small NASA bribe according to Miguna Miguna

I agree.

Maraga has burning ambition but lacks the Machiavellian wit indispenable in politics. Like say Raila or Ruto. This makes him a kamikaze-type dangerous wanna-be. His moves are opportunist - annul Kenyatta win, take on Sisyphean police reforms, declare PORK run, etc - callous moves purely to advance his station.
