While I agree with the headline, don't believe anything coming from Asenine Herman Manyora. He has made over 300 podcasts tittled "Ruto is finished" from 2013. He even bet his life that Ruto will end up in Hague jail for many years. He bet his second life in 2022, that Ruto will be defeated by 2PM. "If I'm wrong, come for my life" He has since deleted those from his Youtube Channel but he is still churning out 'Ruto is finished' crap almost daily. On the contrary Ruto political trajectory has been going up more than S$P 500!

Obviously Manyora is Regular Joe masquerading as a big thinker. How can a pro be begging for M-Pesa donations? But we entertain his opinion like we do news articles. In this instance, the news is the featherweight nature of the frontline bench. Only the impeached RiggyG can measure up.

I believe that any content that does not attract a US audience fails to generate revenue, which forces the creator to seek financial support. And yes, Kenyan mainstream media pundits are not different in terms of analytical depth. Most pundits change their positions based on who is paying or what is trending; if they are unsure or do not know what to say, most hired talking heads must align with the opinions of the media owner. Talking heads from Standard and KTN are hesitant to discuss Mois. They'll be out so fast!

Not really. Likes of Churchill Show made lots of money. And Eric Omondi's Wife Material before the nutcase media police Mutua Somebody censored it. There are a gazillion non-US, non-West channels minting decent money. Naija Samspedy is one. I enjoyed their comedies for years. However not recently been too busy.

But politics is boring. Most people are not excited enough by political discourse to support these run-of-the-mill youtubers.
