I remember my nephew who is an introvert especially around people he doesn't know telling me that he doesn't see ruto as a solution. To the majority of voters 2024 there was no choice. 8M voters stayed home rather than vote for raila or ruto. This Twitter post can give you an insight on why nothing ruto does will change Gen Z. They have maximum contempt of him and his politics. They also have the shame contempt of the version of raila we have in bread based govt.

If they anyone who has really lost political mileage it is raila. As a media observe I seen raila medi coverage getting less than 10 Comments or views. The ones I see comments it ush to counter his narrative and portray him as a opportunist
We are in generation change type of moment only wise politicians will survive.

Nairobi Urban youth have not seen the Nairobi river like this. Ruto is doing big things that history will remember him very well for. Also, thousands of Urban youth have known slums, filth, no running water, dust, cartels, and all the vices until Ruto became president and changes started trooping in. The amount of projects going on in Nairobi will sway masses in 2027 when all will nearly be completed. I'd argue Ruto will scoop Nairobi's youth, especiqally the 200K+ who have benefitted directly from his actions.

If Kenya kWANZA plan is fully implemented, it should get rid of all the slums in Nairobi by 2033 by moving over 4 million people to decent housing
