From what I gather - the demos were hijacked by goons to spoil the June 25 agenda. My suspect is KK did it to undermine RiggyG going by the obviously choreographed attacks on him in the National Assembly. Junet, Osoro, Ichung'wa, Farah Maalim, etc.

However, Orie Rogo Milly Odhiambo rebelled and praised Kikuyus for "taking over the demo mantle from the Luo." [sic]

Kenyans, naturally, like maadamano, so they can steal, pillage, and destroy neighbors'/enemies property. The goons hired by politicians cannot do extensive damage on an industrial scale because they are usually a group of 400 or so. One thing you need to know is Kenyans lead in jealousy, bitterness, and savagery. A lorry driver, or any motorist, who sees it when an accident occurs will tell you. Eldoret is a city with thousands of okuyus and other communities. They are the one's mainly protesting. Kalenjins and violent protest cannot be used in one sentence. They only take lives on industrial scale if their interest is severely threatened. If Ruto is hurt, or overthrown violently before is mandate is over, that is when you will see them delivering unmatched justice to any group that participated in such!

Totally agree! You are one keen observer in Kenyan politics. Tribes are always tribal and support their own even when their own stinks. Kibaki and Uhuru decimated Kenya, but you cannot tell that to okuyus. Even my okuyu wive think they were angels during their times!

That was a legitimate maadamano that needed to be waged (very proud of Samoei Koitalel and my Nandi people!). If wzungu had managed to penetrate the interior, we would not be alive today. The modus operandi of those people until today was to decimate the local population first before expansion. Native Americans, Aborigines, Namibian people, Botswana people, etc., are less than 3 million because over 15 million locals were wiped out. If not for Mau Mau, the Nandi rebellion, and others, Kenya's population would likely be 3 million today, with those people controlling all sectors of the economy! Viva Sameoei et al.!
