Someone just bought 10,000 Teslas at 213 and sold them at 251 and made over 400,000  in about 29 minutes. The stock market pays, but it only works for those with a lot of money. You can make money by short selling or going long when the market crashes and rebounds temporarily. Long run, US stock market makes people stinking rich. Just have to be suvvy, patient and have a lot of dough at hand.
