I have two grandmothers who are now 100 and 97 years. I couldn't believe my eyes when my sis sent me pictures of my mum's aunt who is 100 years. My maternal grandfather sisters have had a long life. That 197 years of living between the two. My grandfather died in his 80s from diabetes but genes are amazing that his sisters have lived this long. My mum siblings have the same genes..they have only lost one sibling but they all the other 6 are healthy and in their 80s and 70s..
Sometimes we have to step back and celebrate coz life can be dark. I am grateful that the two have lived long and healthy lives. Actually the grandmother that lives in my village is so healthy she is still working in her farm at 97 years
