Kenya needs Ruto more than Ruto needs Kenya if you think the tribe must die for Kenya to prosper. Ruto, in his 30-year career as a politician, has never been a tribal kingpin or espoused the "Watu wetu wa RV" mentality like Gachagua. Even when things were charged up between Azimio and KK, he went to campaign in Nyanza aggressively for one prosperous Kenya, where he was stoned. Based on internet lies, most Kenyans believe that the Ruto administration is dominated by Kales. However, in reality, Kales are advocating for more representation in this government, as most tribes are balanced, with Kikuyu holding a dominant position under the current Ruto regime (while complaining). Shida ya Kenya ni cartels, incompetence, wivu, and, to some extent, leaders that want tribal nonsense to continue. Ruto is the cure for all this madness over time. I strongly believe if he secures a 10-year tenure like Kibaki or Uhuru, Kenya will make strides never seen. Gen Z started well, but when Gachagua and other cartels hijacked them and armed them to destroy businesses, parliament, and courts, and target politicians, they tainted themselves badly. Wait until 2027 to see where the real mashinani Gen Z will be! There will be wamunyoro Genz for the Gema party, Azimio Genz, Kenya Kwanza Genz under Ruto, and Coastal Genz under Mvurya, Kingi and Joho, Western GenZ under Mdvd, Atwoli, Opranya, and Weta, and many Gen Z factions supporting their groups, eg Kamba Genz under wiper!. Kimani Ichungwa has over 100K Gen Z under his grip in Kikuyu constituency and so on and so forth. Reality is having a lot of money, and plans for all Kenyans are what will endear a politician to Gen Z and other Kenyan groups like women table bankers!
