When others get ahead, those getting behind cause all sorts of problem because of scarcity in dough. When they say money is the root of all evils, it actually mean lack or scarcity of money, not boatloads of cash. More money always leads to less problems and better living. Somali leaders, those that are natives of Kenya and those migrants from Somalia have united their people in building wealth in Kenya. Good thing is they have decided Eastleigh and Kenya to be their base and outside Kenya. It should be celebrated because of their organizations etc. Buses and Bus routes in Kenya and in EAST Africa are decent and organized because of Somalis. Gleaming Skycrappers are beaming because of them, and yes, they have invested heavily in affordable housing. They will be the largest Landlords because they pool their resources together. The rest of Kenyan tribes are experts in back stabbing and jelousy, especially our Mountain people. Kirubi in his deathbed, and Ngugi wa Thiong'o in ATL expounded in great detail about watching your back when rich in certain areas! Too bad the menace seem to be spreading everywhere. Folk should strive to build wealth, not complain when others are making 10 steps each day!

I support in wealth creation, the wealthier people are or even countries, the world becomes a better place. If Somalis are becoming wealthier, most of it is illicit wealth probably stolen from their counties or fraudulent deals in the west, at least they are investing in the country and not hiding the loot in some island. Somalis, Kisiis are good businesspeople but overtaking Kikuyus is a little bit of a pipe dream. A few gleaming malls or high rises will not do it. The wealth owned by Kikuyus in all parts of Kenya is actually amazing let alone almost owning everything in mt Kenya, half of rift valley, Nairobi and do not forget diasporas where at least 65% of all remittances are Okuyu.
