And seeing him cut a lonely figure recently with only Sonko and Waitutu - both impeached - giving him hope.

I think we can say he is done.

It too soon for UDA folks in Mt kenya to risk party sanctions and follow him. Others are going to switch side to Kindiki and continue the journey.

Those who lost last elections - are more comfortable - attacking from Jubilee/Uhuru side.

So yes Gachagua is finished. He will become isolated and lonely. If he forms a new party ---I dont think he will have new takers

 His option now is to join Waitutu and sell Kalonzo Musyoka. Or to join Jubilee and wait for directions from Kenyattas.

Now prospect of judiciary overturning his impeachment and cause political instability where sitting deputy is in office are about NIL.

He can become a bit player - in Kalonzo and Kenyatta team - as revenge against Ruto.

Gachagua is finished but he walked out of UDA with Gema vote. 49% of UDA vote. Ruto should focus on western alliance. Saprano guy and kiunjuri cannot help him. Pastor Dorcas tears was the last nail.
