Now Taifa Care :D

NHIF has just been given a bad name to steal the billions in suspense accounts. The main reason for hasoras dropping out was lack of benefits for them. Hospitals only taking civil servants cards. Very vile sickos.

Nope the hustlers couldnt work with NHIF because they get sick and run to NHIF to pay.
And are told to wait for months.

Ultimately this good start
But we should think about VAT like levy instead of monthly.

And of course insisting that someone start from level 1 - not rush to private hospital or level 6 - will keep the cost down.

Unless it emergency admission - level 1, 2, 3 ,4 , 5 - should work.

Anyway let support reforms

There s nothing mysterious about the suppliers. It is some guy from Sugoi playing supplier. As simple as that. Afya House never even issued any tenders. Single sourcing.

Those who have registered and utilized it can attest to the arrival of a new era in Kenyan health care. Digitization and patient healthcare records are driving sham clinics and many cartels that were making money through NHIF. Health centers don't have to do repeat procedures like blood work, especially if they are current. Whether you get sick anywhere in the country, clinics can pull your records and continue treating you based on data on file. Though under 20% of Kenyans have registered, when it hits 70%+ universal health care coverage will change Kenya for good. Kibaki and Uhuru failed, but Ruto has managed to get it done. Give it another 12-18 months, and Kenyans will be thrilled with Taifa Care. Yesterday, a bill of 348,000 shillings from family memeber at MTRH was paid without any questions asked. No fundraising  and hoping for no pain for many Kenyans who are registered and  compliant in their meager dues. Very proud of Dr. Ruto's leadership on universal healthcare coverage. He is sticking to important things like healthcare that mean a lot to millions of Kenyans; no wonder faceless cartels are fighting him without bringing evidence to the courts or public. NHIF cartels and massive corruption in healthcare that had pillaged Kenya have been cut to size!

Absolute. Ruto should take charge of this and Maize. Fix health care and cost of living. Then throwin in infrastracture. Kelele kelele ya nini.

Absolutely thrilled by promise of SHIF.

And this is the elephant in the room. That ONLY Ndii and Ruto understand the godsent things they are doing but hasoras have to pay like yesterday.

Looks Adani is playing dirty with the system after JKIA. 5 billion has drunk water.

"Previously, the preauthorisation process was seamless," Dr Lishenga explained.

"But it seems there was a flaw in the system when it was launched two months ago. Almost every procedure was being automatically approved. This led to a sharp surge in surgical bills, which have ballooned to nearly Sh5 billion in unpaid claims within less than a month. Concerns arose that this trend was financially unsustainable, prompting the adjustments."

According to insiders, Savannah Informatics was chosen because of its industry experience and ability to expand and deploy its system quickly. However, the arrangement is far from ideal.

“Safaricom is essentially developing the system as we use it. It’s like building a house while living in it. Anything can happen. This is why claims are delayed, causing issues like the pre-authorisation backlog for surgical claims,” Dr Lishenga explained.

According to an insider at Savannah Informatics, as the fourth contracted firm, they are set to be paid Sh1 billion. This is the agreement with Safaricom, the consortium leader. What is not clear from the agreement is whether the amount is on top of the Sh104 billion tender the consortium secured to set up the SHA system.

All insurance worldwide has major problems; that is why delay and deny are two common things. Until all people are where the majority of healthy people comprise more than 50-60% of the insurance pool, the system will have to be continually adjusted.

Crazies force unworkable policies then claim implementation challenges paid by taxpayers. Hamelikans saw through the Obamacare bulshiet, now insurance companies' CEOs are on wanted lists.

Government officials are not that bright all over the world.
