This story made me shake with ANGER!! How, how, how, can you run a country like this? It's over for Ruto.  I know RV pundit keeps running his mouth here about tribal mathematics, but with things like these happening and with the abductions and murders, it's over for Ruto.

The only way he wins in 2027 is if he massively rigs and if he does that, the US will step in and literally haul him off  to the Hague again (because Kenya will descend into bloodshed.)

The only other option for kenyans if he tries that will be to take him out.

I’ve worked close with agencies and familiar with introduction of new policies like Obamacare. It’s been incremental and some parts are not even there

The UHC and SHA test runs failed thus postponement delays. The NHIF employees' and cartel resistance. Then came Adani and the billions.

“SHA ICT system was piloted in Marsabit dry run revealed that the new system was not ready and challenges are being addressed and a second repeat dry run that encompasses proxy mean testing may be done thereafter,” the committee said in the report following a meeting last Friday.

“The ICT experts have been requested to report for SHA alternatives on the ICT system especially on the registration and contribution domain. There is a need for an alternative solution even including recalling the SHA regulations and use of NHIF systems and the latter has financial implications. The nature of the contract with the current NHIF system licences and contracts need to be renewed.”

The committee chaired by Dr Jason Kap-Kirwok was inaugurated on January 30, 2024, by Health Cabinet Secretary Susan Nakhumicha.

I feel for those who need these services. PPle are chronically ill and need treatment but they cant get it because NHIF was screwed. The morons havent even come forward to tell pple what exactly happened. No accountability at all.

They can't do a normal hemogram test - atî they don't have reagents- so, they had to go to a private laboratory for the test and pay 800 bob.
After they took back results to the government hospital, they claimed to suspect "H. Pylori" but gave her Panadol, multivitamin and Omeprazole - the rest of the "IMPORTANT" drugs not available - GO BUY...
Honestly, imagining the AMOUNT I'm paying for this scam for these useless services , I click and cürse- it's very painful.  I'm actually feeling very emotional.

Last week, I also had to pay cash for my wife's clinic - it was the first time I was paying for her clinic she has attended for half a decade- because, how do you ask someone doing routine clinics at level 5/6 to go back and start afresh at level 2 - not unless you take their pain or ailment as a joke - how heartless!?

I know a retired civil servant, who has been attending her check up every week at Nakuru level five, for the last 15yrs, imagine a 87yrs old man with HBP and diabetes not getting services told to go to a village dispensary with machine can test Diabetes or BP level.....

My Dad went for treatment/checkup in Nakuru PGH,mind you he has been treated there for more than a decade....Akaambiwa they are not accepting Shi ama Ni SHA he either go to a level 3 ama aende dispensary...like seriously!!! He has had diabetes for many years and NHIF catered for his treatment n medicine Leo imebidi niokolee nitume pesa... disappointment!!
