Going by recently Adani corruption deal it seem like the West try to prop India as counter measures against Chinaman and BRICS. Puppet state like Kenya and others basically pay levy to Industan.

Geopolitically India is an unprincipled, fence-sitting turncoat and pawn. Like Turkey and only slightly better than Pakistan. The trio belong to both East and West camps. But at least Turkey and Pakistan don't overrate themselves. India actually fancies itself as China's rival... never mind the vast ocean of factors and scales between them. I think they should beat Germany first - in quantity and quality - then dream of beating China and leading the world.

Modi thinks India is top 3 with US and China, which of course is delusional. For instance "Made in India" is a hollow mantra. There is no noteworthy Indian industry in China or US or German scale.

Adani was cleared of fraud suspicion last year by US court. Forbes puts him at $76B and 17th richest.

He is into ports, mines and energy. Not so much an innovator but looks legit. You can't amass 76B rolling dice.
