No respite even after four months of good rains. Seems mzungu money and NGOs at KARI have killed all fast maturing crops.

Yeap - but Nyahururu viazi ni mingi - huyu ni drama tu. Potatoes take 3 months; Many are being harvested now.

For people who depend on buying Maize from selling tea like kwetu - people are suffering - maize at 230 for 2kg - while per day earnings - say 20 kilos for 7shs is 140 - so now someone works for 2 days to get 2kilo tin of maize.

But people who depend on potatoes like nakuru and nyandarua wako sawa.

The only good thing - Kenyans just have to worry about food - Kenya gov pay school fees for almost all the kids.

Diversify diets.
Potatoes have more nutrients than corn, but tell that to a luhya - "there was no food".

Even potato are expensive. A kilo (kasuku) of potato is KES 70 while Flour kilo is KES 90+ at KisiagiThe problem is that he can't eat potatoes everyday of the year because they are seasonal and secondly he will become diabetic and we all know glucomet tablets aren't that cheap.

The best thing that can happen is for him to commit suicide from that mast. He is better dead than alive. The cost of coffin, mortuary and funeral expenses is ONE OFF 50K maximum at most and he will deprive the thieving government of Ruto inhuman taxes.

Kenyan activism is top notch. The activists are as creative as politicians, Mckenzies and all wash wash we have around. They know how to execute their acts.

I think gout is humbling you. Finance Bill did not go to Senate. That has not stopped Independent Senator Okiyah Omtatah from doing the Lords work. Not even Zakayo will get in the way of this one. Fuel will NOT go up until this matter is mentioned again in court on July 5th.

Omtata has done his part in inspiring the creativity in activism.

Didn't you have a long post about the problems many parents are facing trying to pay for school fee's?
