Why Anti Gema supporters want Ruto to Isolate GEMA

simply because of Tribal politics , majority of Anti Gema supporters inherited Post colonial politics which were potting Jommo vs Odinga followed by Moi era politics .One thing they forget is that Ruto changed those politics when he deserted Raila and sided with Uhuru in 2013 and when GEMA made him President in 2022.
With Raila playing hard tackle politics of Maandamano soon they will go back where their type of politics suits them .
Ruto was wise in grand-coalition government to side with Kibaki .
Come 2027 it will be end of Anti GEMA politics

Few short-sighted GEMA elements like you want to own and isolate Ruto from Kenya.
This so they can hold siege of him and make him their hostage.

Ruto where he sits has to face reality

While Ruto will not betray 2/3 of GEMA who voted him, Ruto cannot go next election with 50% plus the skin of his teeth.

The reality

1) 1/3 of GEMA who didnt vote for him despite helping Ruto/kalenjin helping Uhuru 3 times will probably never vote for him. These are well known haters like KenyaPlato or FairBalanced. The ones who'd rather vote Raila. They hate Moi/kalenjin more than they hate Raila/Luos.

2) Ruto has to win over western, coast and northern as insurance. Luo and Ukambani plus Gusii looks like a stretch.

Unless you can assure Ruto of 95% of GEMA dont try to own and limit him please.GEMA could betray him and he goes home asubuhi mapema.

The 1/3 of GEMA who dont like Ruto are the ones you need to work on if you want 50-50; otherwise Ruto will share the pie to many outside KK.

I personally was routing for Ruto to perform better than Uhuru in Luhya land , Kalenjin Land , North Eastern , Kamba Land and Kisii but boy oh boy was I disappointed , apart from North Eastern the aforementioned areas are heavily invested in Raila . If Ruto couldnt dislodge them when he was running against Raila who had the baggage of Government with him it will be a mountainous task in 2027 not saying its impossible but will be an enormous task.
Ruto also miscalculated big on Kiambu , i said he should consider a DP from Kiambu as all the rest of GEMA regions had already made up mind they will vote tor him , he went with Nyeri and in the course of it rubbed Meru the wrong way which also cost him some votes there .
I think Nairobi GEMA this time around will vote for Him as just like North Eastern Uhuru had bought them with title deeds etc

It's easy to win over some tribes who get mesmerised by gov than diehard gema haters who've seen power.Ruto has maxed out in gema...diminishimg marginal return on investment..in other areas he will likely reap now that he is president..he should focus on any gov in power tribes..then Luhyas and mijikenda without betraying gems loyalists. Gachagua  will retain dpprk but luhya will l l promised through ball too
