No red wave. Democrats are winning big going by History. In midterms, the party in power usually loses over 40 seats or more and usually loses both houses since 19th century. It looks like Dems may keep the senate and lose the house by less than 15 seats. If Democrats keep the senate, Democrats will win White House, Senate and House in 2024. This is a Blue wave!

Democrats seems to be losing both houses.
Which will be tough for them in a general election coming in two years. It was suppose to be a bloodbath for the party in power, but it appears Trump is still dragging GOP heavily. Democrats are winning 2024 easily!

If republicans win is a big plus for Trump,Putin will give him billions of dollars to change USA foreign policy on Ukraine while also funding his 2024 presidential bid.

You are spot on. It looks like Dems may even keep the house when California and western districts start trickling in. Trump lost bigly again

4 seats to go in the senate, who cares about Trump . Its all about who will control congress and senate.
In 2016 Trump won even with Democrats having a net gain in both congress and senate.
So called red wave happened during Obamas 2nd term midterm elections , why people are trying to use it and overlook the control of both houses just goes to show how people take losses.

That is a myth. Bill Clinton had to clean up the mess left by George Bush Snr. and Barack Obama had to clean up the mess left by Bush Jnr. The GOP of today only propagtes one thing, reducing the taxes for the rich. The federal deficit under Trump shot up despite of him taking over from Obama a booming economy.

fiscal responsibility ones, the trumps pooped in their party.

US for all it's fault is strong democracy with strong institutions. Trump cannot even send email to Putin without getting into trouble - leave alone get a shilling donation for his campaign.

US president is really powerful outside US - within the US his power are limited by strong institutions.

Outside the US - they act like Africa tingod president - they can do anything - because the UN is weak - and rest of countries are at US mercies.

So US president is really the president of the world outside US.

You're crazy.

FNB , please lets not go there you might find Im better travelled than you in U.S. I still expect Republicans to carry the day in both congress and senate and Ive been supporting Democrats since time memorial.
What is the nexus between these midterms and Trump. Personally I want Republicans to change the course of the the current administration direction . Its messing up the world , same sentiments I had with previous regime and how the handled Corona and geopolitics. As for 2024 thats along time away in matters politics .

The three key Senate races remaining
With Republican Ron Johnson's victory in Wisconsin, the battle for control of the Senate remains on a knife edge.

Therefore all eyes remain on the three Senate races set to determine if Democrats will retain control of the upper chamber of Congress, or if Republicans can seize it from them.

In Arizona, Democrat Mark Kelly is slightly in front of his Donald Trump-endorsed Blake Masters, though only 69% of the votes have been counted as it stands.

In Nevada, Republican Adam Laxalt is in the lead over Democrat incumbent Catherine Cortez Masto with 80% of the expected vote counted.

But the biggest unknown remains Georgia, where Republican candidate Herschel Walker and Democrat Raphael Warnock are functionally tied with around 49% of the vote (with 96% of expected votes counted).

It is looking probable that the southern state will hold a second, runoff election between the pair in December, given in the Georgia a candidate must secure more than 50% of the vote to win at a first attempt.
