I like that line up. Rutos eyes fixed on economic transformation. This is it. If kenya does not make a leap this time around might be time to ditch and never look back.

Ndii is clear he is doing it for self-actualization. Good to share same vision with Hasla, Riggs and nearly all those people in Hasora revolution. The rogues will be panel beaten wakuwe sawasawa.

He already achieved half his mission - because he has influenced Ruto thinking and approach - to changed from development to economics - from building roads - to growing the economy. The manifesto and the PLAN is his. Ruto will do get it done. If it's good plan it will work and if it's a bad plan..Ndii will get fired. If it works - he will become Ruto brain for a long time.

He claims it  him and Prof Nyongo came up with 2003 NARC economic recovery strategy - that turned around the economy  - then Kibaki and Jimmy Wanjigi in 2007 came up with bone-headed Vision 2030 with signature big projects for rent seeking.
Has Ndii's theories ever been put into public policy practice?
Show me the numbers.

Look like his economic recovery for wealth and job creation was implemented btw 2003-2007 - and was a success. Then we went into vision 2030 - which now is going to the dustbin. As problem it over-emphasis on big ticket signature projects - that cost lots of money - mostly debt - and have doubtful ROI - like now LAMU and Isiolo airport - SGR of course - all these LAPSETS can cost huge money and have zero ROI - it's a long play.

I think it takes courage for Ruto to admit his economic vision under Jubilee was an epic failure - in the impact. It was executed - like roads built, electricity connected, name it - but the impact has been more debt - less vibrant economy - it's appears long term play - SGR is good example.

So let go for Ndii - fast turnaround fixes - software issues - and leave the big hardware for a little longer.
