Thats the society nowadays men have become irrelevant due to economics and they resort to wasting time online. Once a culture is destroyed the outcome usually is this.

Thank you for bringing this topic back to it's original intent. Pundit hijacked it by blaming feminism, but no woman has ever stopped a man from working or from being ambitious and if it wasn't for women, they'd be many more street children on Kenya's streets because these deadbeat fathers have totally abdicated their responsibilities.

It is right the Ruto is focusing on the economy but ruto, as someone that doesn't drink and as someone that isn't lazy, also needs to start addressing the crisis with men in Kenya and he needs to tell them the truth (maybe Gachagua can do it) - they need to learn how to work and become productive and they need to cut back on their drinking.  Kenya is becoming a country of deadbeat fathers and broke, loser men. You are seeing all these women in their 30's not being able to find husbands because their choices are so severely limited. It's a crisis.

You are convinced he is making $10K a month from youtube video's, which I have said is not possible and in the US, anyone can get a car with credit as long as you make the monthly payments.  Plus, I don't think he is paying rent or utility bills wherever he is living. Basically, what I'm saying is that his life in Texas is a mystery and they are many things he is not revealing like I've hard he is living off an older woman, but he has completely refused to address this issue because it would go against everything he is "preaching" to younger, jobless men in kenya that are stuck in their bitterness.

Kweli wee apana penda Kifee.   Kabsaa...  Look beyond your value judgments and you will find he is a funny guy.

Let's suppose he is all those things.  Does he owe you or anybody else an explanation about his life?   More importantly does this unique instance really represent the social disaster in Kenya?

What exactly is your beef with Kifee? The way I see - guy get fired in media for saying stuff that media thing advertisers dont like - and he is pulling himself up - creating his own "media" and finding his own voice - where he can say whatever he wants - and get paid. That is some freedom. That has probably alone improved his quality of life. Now he can say whetever he wants without corporate BS.

Getting back to the original topic at hand: the topic at hand was about the effects of long-term unemployment on men.  (it wasn't about Kifee who I think is just mentally unstable and is spreading a dangerous message to young men in kenya while living off an older woman in Dallas. Add hypocrisy here) Kifee's message is that it's all women's fault, but it's not and he is feeding off his own personal heartbreak with women to spread this message of hate when the real problem is a dysfunctional economy.

This dysfunctional economy has created poverty and long-term unemployment, which has much more detrimental effects on men than it does on women (it leads to high crime, violence particularly domestic violence, high levels of alcoholism, deadbeat fathers, etc, etc) but kenyans don't want to or are unable to figure this basic fact out.

Nonsense. They are competing messaging all over the world. Some people are tuned to churches and listen to their pastors extolling family values. Human beings are not gullible. They can listen to Kifee but dont think they will implement whatever he says. It mostly for the laughs.

The real problem in kenya is drugs & betting. Most deadbeats are dealing with drug addiction. That is as far as I can think...otherwise people take these gender wars for the joke they are - everyone has a grandmother, mother, sister, daughters, wife and knows gender harmony is imperative.

All these masculinity talks are just entertainment.  When these guys meet their women, they know how to behave. Even Kifee himself you say is kept by a woman - why do you think other men are gullible?

I know many deadbeats that are not on drugs and that don't bet. They are jobless. No hustles. Have given up, etc, etc. and I know some who have jobs and will spend their money drinking. There's a societal problem where the burden of bringing up children is placed completely on the shoulders of women with men spending hours and hours and most of their money in bars and not on their kids.

If they were child support enforcement courts in kenya they'd be overrun and maybe they needs to be a CRB version for deadbeats, but I think even that would be overrun (too many people)

Abortion should be legal - and if not - encouraged. A woman should never bear a child with a deadbeat. The responsibility of catching the ball and carrying it lies with the WOMAN.

Many men just want sex - not children. Stupid women get pregnant. Abort mission. Use contraceptive. The last option of following up men is tought but I agree children dep and court should be boosted.

But again if the guy is jobless - court orders wont help.

This was the attitude in the US until they got serious with child support enforcement laws and it forced men to ALSO think about using condoms to prevent unwanted pregnancies, but the courts basically said, we don't care (if the child is biologically yours, you will pay) so, reckless sexual behavior now came with consequences. This is what you need in Kenya.  Too many young men have 5 different baby Mama's. No child support is being paid. No responsibility.

The same way you are saying that the informal sectors of kenya's economy need to be improved and organized, is the same argument that needs to be made for these men that are behaving like baboons in the jungle (drinking, sex 24/7 with no responsibility) --kenyan men need to be forced to become more "civilized" and stop acting like low IQ monkeys in the savannah (no work, no productivity, no responsibility)

We are 100 percent together on this. I think children court can be empowered - and built in every subcounty. Kenya has all the laws and children department with court orders. The problem they are few and in btw. They should be as many as DOs office...so people can walk and sue men...and hold them accountable. Most men do drugs because they have no responsibility. If they were forced to take care of kids - they might sober up.

Also custodial sentencing should be added for deadbeats.

Our judiciary is seriously underfunded. About 17B annually. We should spend at least 2% of the budget on judiciary. That mean hiring more judges, magistrates, building prisons, children courts, small claims courts, the whole shebang.

And once we build these many courts - they can self-finance from court fines - prisons can self-finance by working prisons to generate income - and be sustainable - and we will well be on the way to rule of law - from real bottom up.

Kenyan men have become Takakata..preying on women. the number of single mothers and children in orphanages shows z society that is serious decaying socially. I ruiru there 3 children homes next to each other hosting over 2000 children abandoned in these homes. ruto should order the ministry  social services and interior to track all dead beats and commit them to civil detention without trial. fuck these kenyan motherfuckers hurting women and kids. as of kipee he is an alcoholic social misfit capitalizing on the decay of modern kenya. fuck him and his mama

For the first time I actually agree with you, but if Ruto were to track all dead beat dads in Kenya, the number would be in the millions.

As for Kibe, he is mentally unstable, but unfortunately, for many young bitter men that are stuck in Kenya with no jobs (Kibe himself escaped from Kenya when he got fired & ended up homeless) but now he is preaching to these defeated men after he escaped that society and telling them to mistreat women something Kibe would not be able to get away with in the US.  Other parts of his life, which he himself has talked about provide evidence as to why he is so unstable:

* He claims to have been molested by a priest when he was younger

* He calls his mother a witch and evil & has no relationship with her currently

* Has two sisters he doesn't talk to (one sister died and he refused to attend her funeral)

* Has 2 or is it 3 kids? he is not sure. A 24yr old daughter he has no relationship with. Another younger daughter no relationship with and a son that he doesn't see (has no relationship with any of his children's mothers)

* cannot do his youtube show without wearing dark shades or a hat or without drinking & cannot do the show sober (without that he looks like a typical 48 year old middle aged man)

*Left Kenya after getting caught sleeping with a 17 year old girl

This is now the role model for bitter young men in kenya who prefer to blame feminists and not their own African society that has been ruled by men since independence.

I don't know about kifee. I find him repugnant. never watched any of his videos. to me he is like Moses *kuria. a total disgrace to humanity and decency. I was in kenya last year and after observing people behaviors and knowing how bad these men are screwing women and kids I lost my hope for that fucking place. Kenya is a lothario paradise. the society is becoming like South Africa and Black AMERICANS. Men have become super predators. preying on the weak. no one helps women and children anymore. the society just mocks women and oppresses them. I really hate what our people have become

enforcement. order each sub chief to arrest every kinyanagrika not supporting kids. dedicate 1 billion to prosecute and take these nugus to jail or sell their assets. we need to stop letting people hurt kids and women.

This is judiciary problem. CJ cut her teeth in FIDA and she needs to focus attention on children courts. If he needs funding - she should say it. I am sure parliament will see the need to fund establishment of 200 children courts in kenya. Ruto also should beef up children department part of gov.

Most important is justice everywhere anywhere.

Not some high profile cases.

But all cases including in the village..
