Obviously someone from Nairobi. Which faction would gain from his death? I wonder who. .

First what killed him. Then we can go to who. I think the family should engage the best pathologist for proper postmortem. Then and only then can they speculate on WHO.

I've read severally that there's a very sophisticated hit team operating in Kenya.  Their speciality is in making their hits look as natural as possible.  The Kajwangs will need a very good patholigist

Does every dead have to be caused by someone? Don't people in Kenya die from natural causes anymore? Well may be a post mortem will help us here.

Why is it that high profile controversial politicians die in such circumstances that leave many bewildered? Mutula Kilonzo was a work horse, fit as a fiddle. The rumor has it that viagara took him off the grid.

Saitoti and Ojode die in a freak accident. In reality the huge number of flying bullets take both of them out as they try to flee. It is accepted that the pilots fell asleep after unexpectedly coughing in the cockpit.

We don't have a particularly good history. I was in a convoy with Raila from NEP when his car *alone* came under sustained sniper fire. Thankfully, it was bullet proof. The sniper was a pro! The bullets concentrated around the passenger front seat where Raila was sitting. Had he aimed at us right behind him, I would not be writing this piece. That is the day all my naivete about political killings disappeared.

There was Tony Ndilinge. He was accused of messing up a by-election and squandering the cash. He went to hide but that was not enough. He was shot dead (see below). Ndilinge like many others complained of being stalked but was dismissed Najmlik style. Well, he remains dead as he feared!

We had Enock Magara being threatened. He too cried that he was being stalked by unknown men and feared for his life. He was again dismissed Njamlik style. He met his death in one of those unexplained accidents!

The role of "accidents" brings out another disturbing factor in these stranger than fiction deaths: Many of those who eventually die of "natural causes" often meet a road accident shortly before their deaths in which they survive. Examples:

1. Robert Ouko (who rolled in a pickup under strange circumstances with the land rover causing the "accident" failing to stop;
2. Kajwang Apparently survived an accident
3. There were stories that Saitoti had survived a "minor" road accident on Valley Road

So I want to depart from earlier position and demand a thorough investigation. Unlike other cases, there should be a public inquest in the death of Senator Kajwang
... [the ICC case] will be tried in Europe, where due procedure and expertise prevail.; ... Second-guessing Ocampo and fantasizing ..has obviously become a national pastime.- NattyDread

Personally, I'm gonna lean on "the ills of good living in Kenya"..too much Nyama Choms, Beer, plus Mpangos wa kando..

But from others, you decide: One thing is obvious...he was a die hard ODM damu..

Kajwang was felled by laxity about his health.  There is a general feeling that these things only kill you 20 to 30 years from now.  That you can always postpone taking an honest look at what can kill you.

But when you hit 40s, in a country with life expectancy of barely 50,  you want to pay more attention to your mortality.

This is not an attempt to exonerate the kilers of Saitoti, Ojode and others.
