Maybe Raila will get more PORK votes but lose the governor.

😂😂😂😂😂😂wow, you guys.... still consoling each other with wish-list fables at this late hour??

Otuoma will carry this with over 70% of votes. ODM isn’t threatened by any measure whatsoever.

Quote
DAP-K Busia gubernatorial candidate Moses Mulomi bows out of the race expressing frustrations from the party headquarters and party patron CS Eugene Wamalwa.

Speaking in Butula sub-county, the outgoing Deputy Governor made these revelations after extensive consultations with the Butula elders who declared their support for ANC gubernatorial candidate Sakwa Bunyasi.

“After consultations with the elders from Marachi, community, I have decided to withdraw my candidature in the gubernatorial race,” said Mulomi.

Addressing members of the press in his Butula backyard, the disgruntled Mulomi said his support for the Azimio presidential candidate remains unwavering but endorsed the council of elders’ decision to back Bunyasi just 4days to general elections.

Look at tribal maths - Bunyasi can get - Nambale,Butula,Teso North and Teso South  - while Otouma will lead in Funyula,Budalangi & Matayos - North versus South kind of situation.

ODM losing the senator to Omtata definitely

Most (All) of the voters bordering Siaya will vote Otuoma/ODM; then Otuoma battles with Bunyasi for the rest of the Luhya vote. Meantime, he gets the majority of the Teso votes with running mate and other Teso luminaries aligned to him. His battle with Ojamong is simply that Ojamong has been too corrupt and he (Otuoma) has been at his neck over this.

As for Omtata, he is Azimio affiliated. If he gets it, he really fully deserves it.

You're a fake luhya who dont even know Busia. Busia is Marachi, Samia, Banyala and Bhakayo - then Iteso (Non Luhyas). Now the problem I am reading is that in his 10yrs battle with Ojaamong - Otuoma might have said some nasty things regarding Iteso people. That will be hard for them to forgive.

Now that Marachi have combined effort - with DAPK backing Bunyasi - I think ODM just lost another seat. ODM could end up with very few governors...like 7 now.

Interesting story. It was I guess very common story. Similar to my great grandfather and his bros. What was your father doing in KAR - he was a cook - that use to be what I heard Luhyas were doing in the army :)

Yeah - but land then had no value - our great grand parent left their farm in kericho - went to present day Borabu - my grand father and grand mother were actually born in Mzungu farm - in Borabu now - around 1915 or about -  then around 1930s - Mzungu started importing tractors - and declared many people redundant.

So what to do - they move to border of Mzungu farm - and squattors - go land huko GeleGele scheme - at Borabu border - and live there. Never went back to Kericho.

Land then really had no value then. Some of our relatives have tried to go to Kericho - but the guys we left dont have any land left - they have very small parcels - because once you move out - someone else moved in. The land simply was of no value.

We supported Raila - he betrayed us. It was worse form of betrayal. Kalenjin will never forgive him. Yaani of all the priorities ODM had - Mau forest and Copenhagen climate conference became his top priority. Kidogo he is sending Ruto to ICC and Hague knowing he was innocent.

Kalenjin would have made Raila president in 2013 - all he needed
 1) Make RUTO the DPM - not useless MADVD - because contribution of Ruto was HUGE - or better yet negotiate for two Vice Presidents
 2) Protect Kalenjin who had fought for him and help saved his Luo people from being massacred.
 3) Assure Ruto after he was done - now in 2022 - Ruto would inherit him.

ODM coalition was solid coalition of three tribes though BUKUSU played offside.

Raila would have won 2013 bila kupingwa...because Mt kenya know Kibaki had rigged massively...Raila just needed to get Bukusu and it was a wrap.

Highly doubt. Kalenjin were one taken to fight. KAR in 1914 I recruited Nandis to fight in 1st world war - mostly in Mozambique and related. Now your grandfather was recruited in 2nd world war in 1940s?

He definitely didnt fight in Srilank/Ceylon. That cock and bull story. The KAR in 1913-1914 - recruited mostly Nandis - who went to fight in Mozambique/Tanzania/Southern Africa against the Germans. The 2nd world war is when African were taken to Asia.
