I remember Pst Kimeto released this song in early 1990s and to this day - I cant a recall song that nail everything - like this. It remain a classic across kalenjin nation. It talk of a oldman man singing of to a goat who had rejected newly born kid - the man would sing to the goat until she accepted her offstspring back - and many comparison btw human and animals - donkey, dog. It behoves the man to better than a goat or donkey or dog.

Great song, I didn't know the song is this old. I think Rose Cheboi (Very Nice Tumdo), Kapkoma Lady (Kararan Tumdo), and Mwalimu Kendagor (Kotab Leketyo) successfully followed Kimetto steps by fusing religion and tradition. All songs are timeless because folks jam it every tumin emet time! Emmy Kosgey, too!
The future belongs to those who have a quarter of the character and integrity of RV Heavy Hitter!
