I just had a extensive conversation with a man that was very close to the late Nderitu gachagua who was the dp nominee gachagua's brother. Gachagua mum was a divorcee that was still staying in her husband's land to raise her kids. She went rogue and started getting involved with local politician by the name of kuguru of kuguru industries. She made so much money campaigning for kuguru that she built a palatial home that gachugua the dp nominee inherited and still lives in. Gachagua was not raised poor as he claims. His partenal grandfather was a richman by the standards then. So this kinyangarika ya ruto is hated for being hawkish and uncouth. Nyeri people hate this kind of thugs. He will be rejected even in his own village. People wish his brother was alive. It is thru is brother that he rose to be mp and became influential at county level stealing billions as his brother became indisposed during his final years. Gachagua is rumored to yave killed governor Gakuru. Gakurus wife has info that points to gachagua conspiracy to kill her husband

He told me that the current gachagua is so hated in his locality for his crimes against kikuyus during moi that he used to only visit his mother at night or with convoy of police. The man told me he won't vote for gachagua.

Nderitu was loved by Mathira people. He was very charismatic and not crass like rigithathi. Maina too is a smooth operator. Kibaki hated maina but he needed funding so he had to hold his nose

Actually there is one thing You used to say that has been confirmed during this time. I was to start a thread about its,in short Mlima Fear of baba is what makes them vote for Ruto you have said that Raila is what unites mlima i used to be a little sceptical but this is very clear now, that's why even after Rutos blunder people in Meru can't fathom voting baba despite the disappointment.
