How many dead Kenyans will it take for the Kenya govt to act on these murders of its citizens in Arabian countries? At least the govt can take the employment agencies to account. Here is another case of a murdered woman and nobody in Saudi Arabia is even arrested for this henious crime. Are Africans not considered as humans in these countries?

When there are similar opportunities at home.  People(from all places)move all the time for economic opportunities.  We just call the bazungu ones expats and the baafrika ones migrants.

Why do they not do that to Americans or Eruopeans?It's because leaders in these countries respect their citizens and share economic opportunities for everyone but in Kenya our leaders treat their citizens as savages or animals steal all money stash it in foreign accounts and private business which means no opportunity.

The answer is therefore poverty.

If we value our citizens other nations will value them.

The government should make it illegal for them to go to saudi arabia (like they did with apartheid south africa -- put on people's passports that they can travel anywhere except to the kingdom of saudi arabia and if they chose to do so, force them to get special permission from the GOK first, otherwise the restriction stays on their passports)

What is needed is to help househelps there - with helpline - to call instead of trouble
So Kenya embassy can rush and rescue them.
We need hotline and small office around middle east to assist poor illeterate immigrants.
They can have telephone or buzzer to press to indicate danger.
At that point kenya official can rush with Saudis to help them.

Ruto has promised a ministry of diaspora seperate from ministry of foreign affairs.

I imagine that diaspora will deal with diaspora issues....while foreign affairs deal with top level gov relations.

Either put that passport restriction there or shut down these agencies in Nairobi or both, but I think the passport restriction would be the best because poverty is making these women do desperate things.  I'm assuming a lot of these agencies sending women there are run by somalis?

When I lived in Uganda - there are that many agencies - run by muslims - and they train their girls before departure.
They are all over - and well established - and you see them running training programs.
The problems in kenya - not blame the victims - not trained - not muslims.
These jobs should be restricted to poor muslim women.
I dont recall hearing Ugandans getting killed.

When Muslim knows it fellow Muslim - they respect them.
It's like Kalenjin - when they know you're not kalenjin - they can do anything to you.
So really non-muslim should never be allowed to go to work as house help or such a personal job.
For muslim killing a kaffir is nothing. They will not touch a practising muslim even if black like sooth

They kill all black people. Nigerians lead, and most North Africa. Tz, Uganda, Liberia and any African country suffer equally. If low in Uganda maybe partly because government restrict people from going there. I see Ugandans crying every other day because of death in Saudi Arabia

It all boils down to leadership at the national level, county level all the way down to family unit. I doubt the government of kenya has data of Kenyans in Saudi Arabia. For a small fee they should be able to build a database of kenyan employees and employers. Quite a percentage of KSA employers are sexual predators and as long as nothing is happening to them we keep on sending young girls to them all in name of poverty. Is there no legal way to pursue this people? Where are kenyan lawyers?

They can start by placing ad's on vernacular radio stations warning women against traveling to saudi arabia, but I'm beginning to wonder just how bad the unemployment rate is (what is the real unemployment number in Kenya?) and just how bad the poverty rates are that would push these women into such a place.

This is a job that women's rep's should take up in parliament.
