Sending poor peasant to rift valley - so you can grab their land in central- the millions in diaspora are now sitting btw hard place and hell; and then inciting Kalenjin to kill them; is beyond the pale. Kikuyu tradition dictates a woman choose who shaves her. She been shaved by someone she respects. Ngina sacrificed her teenage life to marry an old man to fulfill her dad's wishes and to help kenyatta in the struggle. By the time she married kenyatta. Kenyatta was going thru hell. He was just a teacher in githunguri ostracized by the colonial govt.
