Assad's explanation of the sociopaths leading Modern Western Geopolitical "policy" is the soberest, most accurate by a country's head yet.

They pushed Eastwards despite everyone and their mother warning that this would provoke war for over a decade: Why? It's an open secret the end goal is to defang Russia by balkanizing them into 4 to 6 countries and other tactics, all for the purpose of maintaining their hegemonic status. Apart from the threat posed by its sheer existence while being "independent" from the West, Russia has also been a giant pest in Syria, Iran, and Venezuela, and needs to be taken down.

China has been pretending to be neutral but in the last 4/5 days have been more and more openly siding with Russia, albeit in a soft manner. It's an understatement to say that China's economic interests in the EU, U.S., the West as a whole, completely dwarf their interest in Russia, and everyone knows China favors its own economic interest above everything (and everyone ), so why risk it? It's the meme that's been going around online ever since the U.S. started to more openly try to bully China into joining their sanctions. Basically, the U.S. is telling China, "Be a good lad and help us get rid of your friend so that we only have you to concentrate on. It'll make things so much more comfortable for us when we are punching you."

So, China may actually need to make sure Russia survives this as intact as possible, despite the economic risks. They know the West can't take them on without sacrificing their own economies, so for now, they are much safer (than Russia). Even sanctioning Russia is proving to be taxing already, sembuse China?

Why would I  really listen to what Assad has to say? Would you  have listened to what idi admini had to say? You post about about Assad and I ask you if he is your guy. Meaning do you admire Assad leadership? Are you aligned with his values?

If someone ask me when I post on what Biden says I wouldn't be offended. Honestly I can't in good faith listen to Assad even for a second. I want him dead.

The point made here I watched that translation. Is whataboutosm at its best and revisionism of history. Ooh usa supported Mujahideen in the 70s and they are now going after taaliban. The usa worked with so and so group to defeat their enemies. So we should call out usa and let Russia do what it needs to do to others.

In the war today there two groups. The pro Russia  .radicals, dictators and antiwest hegemony groups..the prot western, freedom and believers liberal ideas.

I watched the Assad bit on the video.  He is not wrong in general.  "The West" are looking out for themselves.  Even if it is a self-serving statement.  I have seen other leaders - on the opposite side of "the West" of course - say the same.  I think Hugo Chavez was espoused the same idea, more credibly, only because he was not the butcher I consider Chavez Assad to be.

ALSO Chavez was not a dictator, which Assad definitely is.
