Malala and Sakaja delivered Mdvd to Ruto - so the noises are strange and likely mean Ruto might have bit more than he chew. If he imtimated they would "discuss the big seat later" with a delusional person like Mdvd he could live to regret it.

But I don't think Malala is speaking for himself - Mdvd would already be out to rebuff him.

Nah, more fake news I've seen the interview. And while he does insist on MDVD DP proposal he sounds malleable and not antagonistic to KK. I think someone talked to him. They were probably just trying to push a bit for negotiations purposes. It's so interesting how much MDVD/Kaloi are cut from the same clothe. Malala is basically Mutula Kilonzo Jr for MDVD.

You see Mdvd and Kalonzo formed Cerelac coalition as a bargaining chip in the hope Raila & Uhuru would tosha them. They knew Ruto wouldn't budge - remember he can't be DPORK again. Kalonzo was cooking a technical committee, Mdvd meantime was in secret talks with Ruto. Uhuru & Raila sniffed this and put Eugene to work with DAP-K. Gideon was left to man Kalonzo.

Despite the bravado Ruto was scared of Raila's big Azimio coalition. The desperation led to hasty concessions to Mdvd. But with the race so tight he needs every inch of Mt Kenya... it's why you see Pundit giving him 75% - which is a false wild triumph he does not even give Raila in Ukambani.

Yes. Except Luhya are revolting... so many have dumped ANC and Ford-K for DAP-K. Kalonzo at least has a grip on his base - plus local opponents are all Azimio.
