it's an indicator but not only indicator..so one has to be careful considering 70 percent never make it back.You have to consider big movers like kalonzo or Madvd then cascade to MPs or governors to other important leaders..then each region has their local issues and consideration.. history is important.. opinion poll data key...and of course the tribal tapestry is what can misled opinion polls..tribe or sub tribe key as ours remain a nation of tribes and sub tribes

Very likely Azimio only chance is with Munya as dp that can give them about 50% but as it stands Ruto has over 70-80% his ground work over the years really paid off,Merus like other mlima people can't be easily moved at this point unless something monumental like DP position
Imenti have abadoned Kiraitu,and Tigania/igembe is only the carrot gatheca dangling to Munya is keeping them guessing otherwise without it ni Ruto

Kiraitu Murungi is long-term Meru kingpin and has yet to lose an election since 1992. His move to defend his seat under Azimio in Mbus says alot. Unless you mean he is suddenly stupid or has been duped? That's far-fetched. I don't see the UDA excitement in Meru: Dawood, Mpuru Aburi, Kawira Mwangaza are running as independent. These folks relying on their strength and not the party.

The choice of party by Kiraitu and Kawira say alot. UDA in fact spent months courting Kiraitu and he refused.
