When I speak -as Pundit - I am not speak as myself - I am analysing what Kenyans wants. It's not what I want. Last time Kenyan didnt care about ICC - and all consequences - and wanted to right the wrongs of NARA. They rightly fell that Raila and Kibaki the main protagonists of 2007 pogrom had thrown Ruto & Uhuru under the bus. For them it was important to right that wrong. ICC became the ISSUE in ways nobody imagined.
When I speak - of Kalenjin warriors - I am not speaking as Kalenjin - I am analysing what Kalenjin nation will likely do. I will be the last man standing to raise arms against anybody for any reason - worse for political reason. I grew up in family where we only ones who supported kikuyu candidate for years. My own brother is a diehard Raila man. But I cannot say the same about 90 percent of Kalenjin - and worse about 30 percent or so who are savages - and will not hesitate to kill for Ruto.
And if you disagree - go to my village now and call Ruto an idiot - chance are high someone will beat you up badly.
Apart from me, nobody has studied Kenya politics, like this guy
http://www.charleshornsby.com/kenya-blogAnd he wrote this..few months ago.
A united Raila/Kikuyu establishment/Musalia Mudavadi/Kalonzo Musyoka/Gideon Moi alliance would beat Ruto decisively, but that is near-impossible. Both Musyoka and Mudavadi have backed Raila before, without success. And Raila seems determined on one more try, though he is weaker going into this election season than in any of the last three contests. A three- or four-way split with Raila, Mudavadi and Musyoka all standing would guarantee a victory for Ruto, who has a solid 30% of the nationwide vote today, and would sweep up many undecided voters.
This is assuming that the elections were free and fair, which cannot be taken for granted. And if Ruto were rigged out (hard to do, but not impossible), I believe parts of the Rift Valley would burn.Careful my friend what you wish for. If Kenya had a dictatorial regime, then you wouldn't even be posting on this blog. Some of the things you post here about what Kalenjin warriors can do/will do, would have caused Veritas blog to be closed down and you the author hunted down like a rat.
Many of you may not be aware that Mashada, a precursor before Nipate, folded after the Government fingered it out as No 1 on a list of 6 online forums that they were uncomfortable with.
