Yep.  Diaspora in far off places are more likely to self identify with the larger group.  And if you conclude that Maragoli might have a larger diaspora than Bukusu because of bigger land pressure then that phenomenon could raise their numbers.  By how much I can only speculate.  But I do think Maragoli are definitely over a 1 million.
