So what does that help us as it is nothing new in Kenya?
Also 10% upper class is weigh too high. Maybe 0.01%. David Ndii seems to be doing a bad job in UDA.

The Kenyan measurement standard is about right because the upper class is anyone with a big car, a modern house, and about 70K a month income. In US standard, Kenya has 0.2% upper class, 3.5% middle class, and about 96% hustlers. Kenya is a hustler nation, and whoever unites the bottom class can win this. Folks mostly vote against something, not for something, so creating a bogeyman can get you in faster.

No way upper class is 10%. What is Ndii smoking? Ndii's problem is that outside of working for the world bank, he has had no other real formal employment or business experience. He is a total academic that spends time on twitter coming up with theses bizarre mathematical calculations that he pulls out of thin air.  The other day he called a guy stupid and said economics has no practical value (then why is he with Ruto and spreading this bottoms up theory?)

Upper class is 0/01% of Moi, Kenyatta, Kibaki, Biwott (basically, political thieves)

Middle class is majority kikuyu slum lords in Nairobi; bar owners and some kikuyu big time hawkers at Gikomba

Ndii position is that economists have no practice. Not that it is not practical. Ndii advises ruto what to do for the bottom pyramid and his job ends there. He did it for Kibaki and raila. He runs Zimele too. It is for taxes, ruto and kinyozi to do their part.

Economic advisors are not the ones to push mkokotenis for them to practice economics.

Precisely. It will be a big mistake to put Ndii on the operations. His job should be Chief Economist - heading Vision 2030, budget making, KIPRRA and such institutions. They should come up with 5 yr plan and go home. This is what Ethiopia, China and others do. Then Ruto should execute the plan with ruthless efficiency he is known for.
