I think the 2022 elections will be the most peaceful if the Uhuru government stays fair before and a few days during the handover. In a fair election, DP will concede and throw full support to the winner; likewise, should he win, he will graciously demand support from competitors. Peace, effectiveness, and integrity are DP's core values that are not negotiable. I'm sure it will permeate during elections and beyond his presidency should he emerge victoriously.

At least Maasai are also armed and if they were big tribe like kalenjin - gov would think twice before it rigged a maasai. That is leverage Luos do not enjoy. Your reputation for stone throwing lasting one afternoon allowed Kibaki to rig Raila out and allowed for many Luos to be murdered by gov since 1969 assisination of Tom Mboya.
