Lack of govt when the elderly are massacred in the name of religion.

Unbelievable in 2021.
Where have these people been all this time when the world is moving forward?
The problem is the murderers will not be arrested. Gives them courage to repeat the same crime once again. So the elderly are under threat. If you live to become old is because you use withcraft to protect yourself from callamities.

This thing of witchcraft has such a hold on these guys. After nyamatoro videos I realized how deep this primitivity is believed. That why such killings are allowed to go on without anyone stopping them. I wonder how this can changed because even education and religion has failed. One thing that needs to happen is govt to Conduct security operation. Just condone the area and identify the people involved and punish the community in way it will deter them from this type of savagery I'm future

Precisely. They need to send GSU - because this kind of nonsense of killing old women should not happen - without consequences. Most of it you will find are land conflict.

How comes other famed witchcraft hotspots never  kill suspects? Looks like Kisii want to have their cake and ice eat it; they want a certain type of witchcraft and not the other.  Funny thing is, I've never heard of nobody visiting Gusii land for witchcraft. Luhyaland, Kao, Coast, Pemba, Tz...name it but not Gusiiland

It's not just Kisiis that believe in witchcraft.  It seems to be a pretty prevalent belief in those parts of the world.
Quote
A huge black cobra was found and killed in the homestead of a woman accused of witchcraft much to the shock of Mungore villagers in Bumula, Bungoma county.

The villagers attacked the homestead and destroyed property, including the house.

The woman ran into hiding.

The killing of the snake came after residents who had complained of increased cases of witchcraft called a renowned exorcist to remove all witches in the area.

Everyone in the picture should be arrested, and prosecurted.
This shows how bad the govt at all levels is failing the older generation.
Where is the leadership????

You won't hear any kisii leader condemn this. This guy killing the old man is actually rumored to be a campaign operative of the area mp. The savagery is sanctioned by the community that why a security operation would the correct punishment. The whole community needs to be subjected to the wrath of the state. This will hopefully deter them.

What did I tell you about those ghastly people, where is that square head who was whining eti I was talking like a race realist, kumbaff sana. They have no respect for the elderly.

Poor shosho, the sheer terror and desperation she must have felt on her last moments...I can't even imagine her plight.

This is an easy case if they don't make an example of this miscreant nothing will change.

I forwarded the link of this saga in my WhatsApp school group and despite of very many active Kisii members, no comment.
Iko kitu or do even learned Kisiis tolerate such inhuman behaviour?

Witchcraft is ingrained in Kisii mind. Killing of old witches is also part of their culture. I was reading kipisigis history - some gusii use to escape to kipsigis land - running away.

Yes they should be charge with murder and kept in prison for life. One wishes the GSU would also be deployed to beat the savages. Witchraft in 21st century is retarded thinking.
