Great! Never knew there was great infrastructure in Kisii and Nyamira for coffee. Totally neglected by government unlike Central Kenya.

130,000 farmers producing 15 million kilos. With a conversion of 5:1 means they are doing 3,000 tonnes of green bean. Quite a substantial produce given the declining national produce.

Just shows the productivity potential if we move away from session Paper No. 10 and this 1m1s nonsense of concentrating investing along over exploited lunatic express rail line corridor. Coffee factories in central are being sold as plots just like sugar factories in Western despite billions in subsidies.

Yes it very ideal for labour intensive agricluture - just too many idle gusiis. The same for places like Vihiga.
Devolution and CDF are correcting sessional paper no 10...thought paper is harmless..the problem was Kenyatta and Moi open tribalism/favouritism...that have been sustained by Kibaki/Uhuru.
Development is still somewhat skewed in big projects
But generally it's getting better.
