If I was Ruto - I would borrow a leaf from Uganda Bob Wine - wear helmet and bullet proof vest - avoid choppers and flights. Double up on bodyguards. Ruto has done well navigating through political land mine. Mlevi 1 has nothing on him but I wonder how appointed government official like Pauline Njoroge can call kenya deputy president Terrorist Gurrantor and still hold a job. Yes I would worry not much about Uhuru - he knows how such a move would eventually cost him and the kenyatta family - I would worry about the Kibichos and low rank fellows - who may be desperate.

For now it appears the political angle have failed. They know they cannot crush Ruto financially - because Ruto planned his moves long time ago. They have tried many tricks for 4yrs - and Ruto just keep becoming strong.

They also know whatever criminal drama they cook - the judiciary wont play along. It just a weekend of drama - and someone is back to circulation like Gachagua.

They know even if they pull terror thing like Sonko - it will die in court.

They definitely know they cannot arrest Ruto without risking an uprising. The uprising wont start in RV - but in GEMA. GEMA hustlers are ready to attack their elites for instigating a war long before Kalenjin start.

So for now - they have two options - negotiate with Ruto or kill Ruto - and prepare to hand over to military - whatever will left of kenya - Museveni may even take back half of kenya

If by hijacking Jubilee hasnt stopped Rutos Momentum, If Uhuru has become persona Non Granta in Mt Kenya ,  What makes ODM supporters things have chamged from 2013 and 2017.  Change strategy is the only solution but do they listen . They are now talking of deep state and system. Pathetic.

No Ruto has appealed to all kenyans - he has people from coast to western. You cannot win 50 percent of the vote with two kabilas only. Ruto has been for win-win. Ruto when he was in charge in first term - development went everywhere.

The people to be most dissapointed are those expecting Kalenjin to benefit. I know most Kalenjin do not want such favour. They saw all in Moi gov that such is no sustainable. mt kenya also saw with Kibaki - that all was vanity

When Raila was busy supporting Mt Kenya 1M1S - Ruto said No - we are past that - we go for win-win.

Kibaki really disappointed Kenyans - because after NARC revolution - we expected tribalism and corruption and all Moi evils would end. It didn't. Yes economically we made a turn for the better. But we have a chance to slay tribalism and corruption - and we FAILED.

Ruto is competing with 50 percent. Raila's strategy, for now, is to go for the second round - I don't think they can re-sign the OKA. Deny Ruto 1st round by letting OKA do their strategy where each of them defends their tribal turf.

Ruto need to win by 55 percent - enough buffer - to any rigging shenanigans. That is basically the Jubilee coalition of 2017.

Any GEMA lost to Kieleweke or Muturis need to be replaced by other Kabila's. Also, mass registration in January is critical.Ruto need to spend money in ensuring UDA zones really register.
