A split is happening in Kalenjin..Kipsigis callers were all in support of Isaac Ruto..Nandis (North rift) were against and in support of WSR. WSR is in trouble if Isaac Ruto crystallize and consolidate kipsigis grievance into a political force.

Kipsigis are 40% of kalenjin; nandis 20%; pokot 15%; the rest are 5% each; tugen,keiyo,marakwet,sabaot.

That mean 50-50% split is possible...pokot generally do not give much thought into kalenjin thing.

Ultimately that is good thing because it will force WSR to wake up from the slumber and stop fawning.

Yes WSR hosted 70 of frequent callers to Kass fm in his Weston hotel. I think most of your underrate Plogopta..but in my place at least konoin...he has all key people except maybe the mp and senators..otherwise he is guy running patronage..so anybody in charge of a school, dip, dispensary, a road levy or anything important in villages..is plogopta dude..MCAs except maybe 3 or 4....are plogoptas.Of course selling raila with mau manenos won't go anywhere..am hoping Plogopta Isaac Ruto has another end game..but this good pressure on UhuRuto....not to expect BLIND support..without any national project going on in south rift.

Bottomline: Plogopta is a real political force.

Topline: Raila is doa as long as our mau cheese is under threat.

Moi who was from minority tugen ruled and reigned amongst kalenjins while kipsigis leaders like Franklin bett and kipkalya kones have suffered from political defeat in the past while competing for political power from leaders from other kalenjin sub tribes..Isaac ruto is just hot air,Anybody can pay thugs,drunkards and bored broke tea farmers to keep calling kass fm to try influence political opinion through propaganda,RVs best shot to win the presidency is through WSR unless he is behind IR for putin medviedev guesswork,

In my view this is symptomatic of WSR failure of leadership; it kalenjin splitting because they are not convinced on the future direction that WSR sneaked in; that of granting Uhuru 10yrs on a silver platter without any negotiation or anything; At best Ruto should wait for 3-5yrs for a review of Jubilee...before granting Uhuru 10 or a second term.

Uhuru has 5 yrs ONLY. After that we will review what he has done..and what he promises to do..if he want a second term.

I think WSR need to communicate that.....and RV folks will be united again.

The message should be URP-TNA deal will be up for review after 5yrs....or heck if the party was functioning..this should be an annual affair.

But we know WSR and Uhuru have managed to make party affairs...personal friendship affairs.
