In entire COK2010 - only CJ needs a degree - the rest really should do with form 4 or even being literate.

That is what happens when you require degrees for it's sake; people will acquire the papers; not the education.

Has a judge actually ruled that or is it usual ululations? If MPs have oassed a law - properly - I expect the courts to side with parliament. Not IEBC procedures. Anyway personally I would rather illiterate Muthamas be locked out.

I actually think we should require PHD or at least masters for political leadership in this country. You want to weed out jokers, opportunists and job seekers. Otherwise you end up with populists like Sonko, Waititu or worse. You need civil discourse, education mellows people. In addition one should go through integrity/wealth audits.

It seems unconstitutional.  Very suspect at the least.  You don't need a degree to be able to understand and solve problems.
