Give your reasons.,most high school graduates in nairobi can do this jobs. This would alleviate pressure on job market. Most small corps in usa can use this type of support. I intend on outsourcing some of my bookkeeping and accounting work to kenya.

Slave work. Where the real jobs at?

Doing menial repetitive tasks for the first world while being paid a pittance is not going to cut it.

We have to earn our livelihoods in a more dignified manner. That means producing real things, creating real value here at home. Call center economy is a beggar economy.

This is a meangiful job. I know a girl that makes $90k in cash untaxes from dispatching truckers. She works a lot but it is good job if you are a go getter. If a kenyan makes $1500 a month that is good income for a high school graduate

Getting cash does not equal to success or self actualization. Kenyans need to change their mindset otherwise real wealth will continue to elude us. Once that truck dispatch gig collapses as it will these people who were temporarily awash in paper will be left helpless because they have no real world skills that are transferable. 

Acquiring real skills and apprenticeship should our priority.

Look up the French compagnons du devoir for example, the apprentices get employment 100% of the time in a country notorious for high youth unemployment because they learn REAL world vocational skills. Employers regard compagnons as a sure bet. Parents usually send their children to universities, it obvious by now that that is a diminishing asset. Many teenagers are not academic. With vocational style apprenticeship they can build a long-term investment in their own future.

Less than 10% of kenyans have a degree. So the issue of unemployment is with vocational skills holders. Isnt a holders. Most of high school diploma holders are stuck in the rural areas farming. This lot doesnt need bpo but needs more investments in agriculture
