Spoke to my apolitical friend today and this is how it went:

Apolitical:  Bryan, are you following the amazing stuff that's going on in Kenya just now?  (forget for a moment that apolitical swore to never follow Kenyan news again)

Me: Yeah....heard about UK's move yesterday.

Apolitical:  I couldn't believe it!!  I respect that guy like whoa...

Me: Why do you?

Apolitical:  I mean, the guy handed over power to Ruto just like that, those that didn't trust him now surely must do!!!

Me: (thinking...whoa, Energetic just said that online, this propaganda machine is amazing)
Me: It's nothing special, the constitution provides for the DP to take over whilst Prez is away, just like Cleggers is PM over here when Cameron is away.

Apolitical:  Oh yeah (penny drops very slowly), but I still respect the guy!! Wah...

Me: So you guys would've been satisfied had Moi offered Kibs the presidency for one day back in 1985? 

Apolitical:  Er..er... that is different...

Me:  Oh yeah?  How?

Apolitical:  Anyway, have you seen the weather outside today?

Tonight and early tomorrow, the TNA wing of fanboys and gals are traveling from all over Europe to the Hague.  One just called the missus to gloat.... Unbelievable.....
