Trump vs Raila rigging algorithms
« on: November 12, 2020, 03:18:56 AM »

VS

The opposition coalition maintained their stand that President Kenyatta was rigged in by IEBC with lawyer Otiende Amollo questioning the pattern of preliminary results streamed by the electoral commission.

“When you look at the pattern of results, the difference between Kenyatta and Mr. Odinga was maintained by 11% throughout the process. It is our understanding that the results were not streaming directly from the polling station but they were released in batches,” argued Otiende.

Mr Amollo went on to give the court an algorithm formula that was allegedly used to rig-in Mr. Kenyatta i.e. Y=1.2045x + 183546.

No youtube for me.  The formula didn't tell me anything.  The contumacious disobedience to the order to open the servers told me all I needed to know.

Anybody with basic maths skills know when results stream in randomly its will exactly that way.its foundation of science. Its foundation of surveys. You randomly pick 2000 people and they represent millions.Key criteria is randomness. Some of you went to school but learnt almost nothing .if first 2000 polling station were to randomly stream in and we knew the  weight of each of the area they represent you can call the elections within an hour especially if it's not tight..margin of error would be irrelevant. Now think Kenya.. 50k polling stations with  max of 700 votes..streaming in randomly as polls counting ends..you'll see exactly near constant gap as each result mirror the total national votes

That NASA paraded some idiot to push some algorithim or computer generated leaders made us the laughing stock of the world.

The basis of scientific research is that you don't need to study the entire population to come to conclusion about them.

You study a sample of it. How do you get perfect representation - by sampling. Mathematical formulas have proven for example that you need max of 2000 people to represent millions...even if you increase that sample size to 1 million..it will of very little precision utility.

You're better off  trying to improve your randomizing function. Random numbers and functions are key mathematical construct. True random numbers are impossible.

Now 50,000 polling stations, with 500-700 votes each, randomly submitting the results (not holding them like in rigging scenario) as soon as they are finished from all over the country, will mean you can call the election in few minutes, with some margin of error. If it's close - like say +-3 - then it will be a long night.

Nobody complained in NO of 2010 - and the numbers did exactly that - they quickly settled on 31% versus 69% - and remained that way.

Okay.  I have researched this Shivva Ayydurai guy a bit.  He is a charlatan who claims to have invented email.  If it were like 15 minnutes or less, I could somehow excuse watching his video.  I can't watch an hour of conspiracy theories.

I didn't buy NASA's claims of rigging because their evidence was underwhelming. The 000's of smartphones their agents supposedly used to capture original tally forms before they were doctored didn't materialize. Relying on the same dishonest IEBC to provide access against itself didn't cut if for me. Chebukati invoked the 5th amendment. Anyway Maraga ruled for NASA and the rest is history. About the algorithm... ha! And oh, the Red Brigade lead by Mobutu did contest the results streaming in in 2010 - yes, specifically the algorithm.

Now US - I don't put cheating past the Dems: I mean these guys brazenly rig their own primaries ala ODM. They played poor Bernie twice. 2016 they gave Hillary the debate q's in advance; 2020 it was more brazen wholesale buyout of the Biden competition. Liberals even have all these choreographed fake polls statistically off by a mile to prep the public. Talk of corruption. That aside - Sleepy Joe is in and Trump's chance is slim to none. But the probe should be open and exhaustive if only to improve the process. I agree with Mitch McConnell that after 4 years of Mueller and Russiagate the hypocrisy of those saying "accept and move on" is nauseating. Who knows? - a few dirty Manaforts (including any fake whistleblowers or fraud allegers) could wind up in jail. Or well another Bush-Gore conundrum where the loser became president for 8 years because the winner conceded.

Nothing wrong with transparency folks.

I don't recall Ruto do any contestation except conceding defeat. Ignorant people without basic knowledge of maths will of course find the constant rate suspect.I remember in Kericho senate - Isaac Ruto started the same nonsense - because rate kept constant.

What they don't know is that because all polling stations are weighted at about 500-700 - and are reporting randomly - it was representative of the total vote - whether 2 or 100% had reported.

This is why capping polling station to max of 700, having these mobile gadgets report as soon as possible, and having final result at polling station makes rigging impossible.

I don't have much recollection how 2010 went.  2017 is still relatively fresh.  The evidence was good enough for the Supreme Court, which tends to err on the conservative side.  IEBC was basically asking them to carry their water.  Nothing to do with algorithms.  Everything to do with open resistance to transparency.  The system in place actually worked, but in the negative.

It is all possible.  But in the absence of evidence, I am not going to ask you to believe the voices in my head.
