Selling Raila in central or mt kenya is quickest way to political oblivion. You can as well jump into lake victoria and you might catch a fish instead. Raila has been hated in Central since forever. Apart from a very brief period of 2002 - Raila has not worked with GEMA.

All that is moot according to Kichwa, presidents are selected not elected by popular consent. I agree with him.

You are deluding yourself. Ruto may soon find himself in a "who moved my cheese situation". We are eagerly waiting for BBI. If it delivers on the proposed three key areas, namely:

1. Political inclusion

2. Equity in distribution of opportunities and resources,

3. Cessation of "do or die" contests that translate to violence and economic losses every election cycle.


Then Ruto will be swept into dustbin of history, the International Community will firmly deal with any spoilers.

Here in lies your problem. You're waiting. Ruto is creating it. Power is not given. It's taken. Continue waiting for Raila to be made PORK. Ruto will make himself PORK - by winning in margins impossible to rig - or by making propsect of him rigging so plainful - nobody will dare it - or if they dare it - by grinding the gov to a halt in few hours. That is how power is taken.
