I think folks have been moving from Azimio to Kenya Kwanza for a reason. Uhuru night meetings in Nakuru killed all independents and to some extent jubilee candidates. Folks tend to gravitate to the winning side. If Ruto was 20 points down, you'd see politicians going Azimio.

Kumbe it was the whole team. Embu Jubilee melted 4 days before election and joined hustler nation. Azimio to hustler is a big deal, especially at the last minute. Politicians defect because they know and feel the ground. Those leaders (Jubilee Gubernatorial Candidate and Women Rep Nyaga) Knows that Raila/Uhuru are hopeless. If UDA were defecting to Azimio, even a low tier mca, or a friend of MCA, the media would report and blast it everywhere. It over for Lenny Kivuti who is still in MBUS party with Kiraitu because Mbeere are less populated. When I saw Wambora join Ruto few months ago I knew Embu was tough. My wife tells me almost  everyone is UDA/Ruto. Ruto will score 90 percent of Embu, Tharaka and Muranga. Pretty much even Meru, Kirinyanga, Nyeri, Nyandarua...GEMA just cannot buy Raila....and many see Ruto as their own....Ruto has visited places Uhuru and kibaki have never been to...villages and hamlets. Ruto like Moi has run the most hard-nosed grassroot campaign ever - and it will pay big time.

Uhuru has mountain to climb - If Raila exceed 15% of Mt kenya - they should count themselves lucky. Even those that want to vote Raila - they cannot handle Luo pride and arrogance.

So you got almost 80 percent that admire Ruto as person - and 20% that see him & Kalenjin as lesser evil compared to Raila & Luos.
