For Mt Kenyz their hearts and minds are with Ruto as at now no Mt Kenya leader has cut himself as kingpin , whoever Ruto choses they can go with .Ruto only needs to be careful to ensure the candidate he picks will bring out voters en mass to vote when it matters. Kiunjuri having betrayed by Uhuru could be ideal candidate , he is a close friend to Uhuru but having seen him forming G.N.U in 2013 and run in parallel with T.N.A he just needs to figure out what he really wants and all will be well...

That could work. Ruto can go for Mt Kenya East and Diaspora (arrows pointed) - but he would have to think about losing central - but maybe not. Kikuyus are so tired of Wanjohi they are ready for anything. Besides Raila, Kalonzo or Gideon are toxic for many people in that region anyway.
