There was pandenium yesterday
« on: March 31, 2020, 07:39:27 AM »
I think my elderly mum is losing it. She couldn't take isolation anymore and took off yesterday by Dawn she was at the village. This after eventful weekend where her neighbor died of corona. When I talked to her She stated that the disease was impacting places with more rich people and bigger estates. I wondered was more bigger than her retired friends that are always travelling. Anyway this is personality change and I think it is a matter of time before the dreaded Alzheimer takes her abilities ..fu c k I can't even go to put this fires out.

Just paid a mechanic to take the wheels off the car. Hopefully she won't taxi her way out.

Dealing with elderly parents is just something else.

My dad has resigned to fate of old age but just like a reversal of roles my mum has decided it is time to work relentlessly. Before she is the one that didn't want anything to do with a busy life. She is in that dementia hoarding stage. The stage of multiple personalities the stage when shit is about to get weird

What is your journey with your parents ?

Anyway I am blessed to have my parents at stage of life. Not a lot of people have been this lucky.
