IEBC was supposed to weed these sorts of characters, but here we are.
IEBC is only a part of the problem; the other (and probably bigger) part is the voters, especially the youth, many of whom will see this as "heroic" or "admirable" in some way. In today's Kenya the only difference between this guy and most "leading" politicians is that he has not yet learned to delegate when it comes to low-level thuggery. Otherwise, as Kibaki would say,
kazi iendelee. I am curious about what he did in college when he was in SONU.
He contrived, mostly by foul means, to endlessly stay as leader of SONU and to engage in numerous questionable (and most likely criminal) activities.
