I just want to become a patent attorney but I seem to be assigned with non-stop criminal cases. I already had my mind raped and hardened from thinking too much about that pedo case.
This time I'm preparing a brief for a chap, a student vet who rescued a kangaroo from a hit and run. He took the kangaroo to an empty paddock and treated it, made a little nest and fed it every night until its injuries healed. A fucking drunk postie went to the paddock to box with the kangaroo and got bit. The police caught wind and charged the postie and the vet student for animal cruelty and they've been hit with a summons to appear at the local court. Ok, not a pedo but I stop and wonder... what in God's name is wrong with the police?
Sordid allegations like they were both fucking the kangaroo and dirty bastards should be locked up without even questioning them. So the fucking police 'freed' the kangaroo from the paddock, kicked the nest down and didn't even have a search warrant, no paperwork, no warning, no nothing.
