Your miscalculation is always thinking that Kenya only belongs to Kiuks and Kale's and that's how you never saw handshake coming.

Nothing I say is contradictory. Uhuru is given a chance obviously will want to rule forever. Ruto and other ambitious politician that are waiting for their chance - business is to stop that from happening - and offer Uhuru a safe landing ground. Uhuru can continue being somewhat powerful under Jubilee as it's supreme leader. He also can try to go through mud & mess of trying to extend his rule as executive PM or something that stupid. I believe those are the choices Uhuru has to make. He has not declared war on Ruto or Jubilee. It's more cold war. USSR and US never went nuclear. UhuRuto may not go nuclear because it's a mutually assured destruction.

Pundit says ....
"
Jubilee did well until now when there is confusion."
....and...
" If Uhuru wants to continue - he will continue with Ruto."

then goes on to say ...

"Uhuru obviously is entertaining the horrible thought of extending his term but it won't happen. He will have to be content with being Jubilee party leader."

This sounds contradictory to me, abit more like desperation.  But inasmuch as i support neither political  camp, i must say ruto is smart ( and i hate to admit it). He has managed to put pull the rag under uhuru's feet in central. I have worked in muranga and thika for the last couple of months and i can say very few want to hear uhuru name being mentioned. Come to ilovi and the narrative is the same in luthuli, river road and grogon areas. A good number of them keep mentioning ruto here and there due to his "launching of projects " all over central ( which we all know wont take off). Though i still doubt if this will translate into meaningful votes for ruto.
Uhuru has state machinery and still wonder if he has the balls to unleash the same on ruto..... only time will tell. But im glad these two clowns are on each others necks. Very interesting for us spectators. I pray the shadow boxing ceases and they go out full scale on each other and unleash all the skeletons in their respective closets

I could accuse you of the same but you know we once supported Raila in ODM - a full blood Luo. Right now the top 3 dogs are Uhuru, Ruto and Raila in that order. Uhuru is barred from contesting again unless we change the constitution. Handshake could be a ruse for Uhuru to extend his rule but I think that will as good as dropping a nuclear bomb. It's going to cause a lot of destruction. Anyway we have next 3 yrs to see how events unfolds. I don't think Uhuru is so desperate like Raila who wants to be a president even a for a day now.
