What singularity? Ditch your iphone and foil antennas. Try gardening.

I just googled. It's never gonna happen. We'll all be extinct before it does. If the best of science is all about correlations, and assumptions about causation are mostly dead ends, look look no further than the reproducibility crisis, the same crisis are likely experienced my machines with fake and faulty data. Problems because of mother nature. Humans have an extraordinary ability to absorb error rates, adapt, lie, and adjust to unpredictable outcomes, machines are coded in a way without sentience. It can't lie, it reacts to error rates like its a big deal. Amazing rate of false positives etc etc. a supercomputer would be deadly in a world with perfect conditions but that's not this world. However, it could be possible in a virtual space. If the workforce migrated to a virtual space and I think this will be inevitable, then yes, a supercomputer leading to extinction could be possible. Already today people are glued to facebook and get depressed etc etc

I have very limited scientific knowledge but I do like theoretical physics. Very interesting but hard to understand ..how far did IBM go with Watson project...from what i understand a super AI will write it own code so it would adapt like humans do.

....theoretical physics... ok. ... not many minds in the world lets say a humble ant to a donkey are interested in physics. However they could easily quash a machine by its evolutionary construct. Anything made by humans leads to waste. To make something sustainable is nature's job.

I'm not watching that clip.. it's got two skulls kissing. I think you're too absorbed in headache theories and you have borderline messiah complex maybe fuelled by panic attacks. I know someone who was dear to me like that and then disappeared after sharing his life with me. It's the holidays, why not think about xmas decorations, baking holiday cookies and shopping? rest assured most peeps who'd quash an AI droid by their mere ignorence.

Mendazis are pretty yummy. I feed my curiosity too but you don't want to feed it to the extent where you think you've lost control of your phone or your life. Have a happy Christmas KP. Love, veri.
