JSA tour restrictions....
« on: August 20, 2018, 12:52:56 PM »
Guys... this is a bit extreme... what am I suppose to wear? My hair is unkempt?

Caution; clothes like no sleeves, short pants, short skirts, ripped jeans, leggings and sandals(slippers or open toe shoes) are not permitted. Seems the same across tour groups: A strict dress code applies for all visitors: "faddish, extreme, torn, tattered, frayed, overly provocative or otherwise inappropriate" clothing is not allowed. Sports clothes (incl. tracksuits), military clothing, oversized clothing, sheer clothing, sleeveless shirts/tops, tank tops, and flip flops and similar sandals are specifically banned. Shaggy or unkempt hair is not allowed and should cover the tattoos and the knees.

The tour goes for 7 HOURS !!! I honestly thought it would be like one of those theme park attractions - walk in the room, take snaps and walk out, 10 minutes tops. I have a short attention span and snap easily especially when hungry. Why couldn't they have made a JSA replica for sandal doting shaggy breds like me?

This sounds like a FCKing WAR ZONE. I'm a goddam pacifist. Unification Bridge - ID Check - DMZ Theater & Exhibition Hall - The 3rd Infiltration Tunnel - Dora Observatory - ID Check at Unification Bridge - Slideshow and briefing at Camp Bonifas - Joint Security Area - Freedom House - Military Armistice Commission Conference Room - UN Guard Post 3 - Bridge of No Return

What the FCK is 'bridge of no return' ? Anyone ever visited JSA zone?

I haven't ever told anyone this, but I'm actually half North-Korean. My dad's North Korean.

What's the difference between North and South apart from the obvious political and economic ones?  Are there analogues to tribes?
