It not even six months since they were appointed and approved. I doubt we shall be seeing any reshuffle soon. New cabinet were approved on Feb and started working on March - why on earth would you shuffle them that soon - unless Uhuru is now smoking twice his prescribed weed.

This new cabinet should be let to work for at least 2.5yrs before reshuffling them otherwise nothing will get done. New guys, new approval process, they take months to orient and before they start running, they are re-shuffled.

I doubt it too. Too much headache and will eat away from drinking time.

If there is any reshuffle Matiang'i is going nowhere. Expect a new UhuRao attack hound from the Coast Mijikenda... to neuter the Ruto onslaught. Basically a Tobiko or Haji kind of man immune to attacks due to 2022 arithmetic. Likely Ruto boy Munyes will also be fired/demoted. Ruto will be checkmated in Maa, Coast, Turkana and NEP.

Urp  wing has blocked  cabinet  reshuffle fearing CS  aligned  to urp would be purged out of the govt.  How long can this country survive on limp mode?

Possible but do they have the numbers in Parliament to block UhuRao? Tactically it's better to let Ruto hold big dockets - Treasury, Majority Leader, IG,  etc  - but hive off key departments or make them lameduck. That way he can't play the tunaonewa card - he tried it with lifestyle audit and lost bad.

Just watching a NTV news clip from this evening and realize how much Kenyans are cheering Uhuru & Raila for fighting corruption and impunity. Ukay Center is a masterstroke. There is a fierce reaction to the MPs protecting CS Rotich and Adan over poison sugar. Ruto has been cornered as the Lord of Impunity and the public opinion is really against him... slowly but surely. Noone is interested anymore in his "efficiency" and the abracadabra he preaches everywhere he goes. Ruto will have to chose between saving himself or throwing his crooks under the bus as his looting machinery is dismantled.

These stories make it clear who the culprit is in the MPs bribery scandal. And I thought Standard Group belongs to Ruto.

It might be early days yet in this grand march. It is worth noting that Parliament on Thursday gave this new war its first setback when some MPs took Sh30,000 each to shoot down a report on the sugar scandal. Plus, questions have been raised on how sustainable this current show of intent will last.

Meantime Raila rubs it in... it's an open secret what Ruto is known for... and it's not efficiency or performance.
